As an organization dedicated to exchange and discovery, dieDAS welcomes the public to take advantage of our unique campus and skilled team. Working in partnership with institutions and companies, academics and innovators, we’re pleased to host retreats, lectures, courses, and other professionally and socially uplifting programs in our fully equipped spaces.
As our historic buildings and grounds undergo a major, multi-year restoration—following a comprehensive design plan by acclaimed architect Dorte Mandrup—available space varies depending on the state of renovation. Upon completion, the entire campus will be available for use.
Available from October through April, these customizable programs provide institutions and companies an opportunity to explore how we wish to live with one another in the future, how our constructed environments should look and function, and which values connect us. Potential focus areas include sustainability and climate, new technologies, the democratization of design, and more.
Throughout the year, dieDAS creates occasions for the broader community to gather with leading experts to examine socially relevant themes. Topics range from the impact of historical and political forces to the advancement of innovation culture, sustainable transformation, materials research, and beyond.
Our freshly refurbished workshops and studios are available to small and medium sized groups for year-round use. We offer guided, customized educational programming as well as, with pre-approval, independently organized programs in line with our mission.
